Od svog osnivanja 1923. godine pa do dan danas, Poljoprivredna škola je svojim radom umnogome pomogla u razvoju poljoprivrede kako valjevskog kraja, tako i poljoprivrede u celini.
Školska ekonomija sa modernom mehanizacijom obrađuje oko 60 ha zemljišta. Svi resursi koriste se pretežno za izvođenje praktične nastave. Na ovom posedu nalaze se ratarske i povrtarske kulture, voćnjaci, rasadnici, staje za više vrsta stoke, silosi, staklenici, radionice, veterinarska ambulanta, garaža, magacin.
U dvorištu škole smešten je dom za učenike kapaciteta 104 ležaja. Sobe su četvorokrevetne i raspoređene su na dva sprata. Ljudi, krenula sam i zavrsila prvu godinu srednje za farmaceuta u Obrenovcu. Kakve su sanse da se prebacim u Valjevo za prehrambenog tehnicara I da budem u Domu ucenika? Molim Vas za odgovor
Dobar dan, zanimaju me utisci djaka i roditelja za veterinarskog tehničara. Ja zelim to da upišem, pa da vidim kako je sa strane roditelja i djaka.
Moja kuma je to zavrsila i zadovoljna je. Ona je bila u Domu. Samo nece da nastavi dalje veterinu jer su ih ubedili da to nije za devojcicu
